The evening began with the group called Soul Stuff as the warming act. Afterwards, Chuck Berry appeared with his musicians and showed that nothing has changed when it is all about rocking. The show was good, better than expected if you consider his age. The audience welcomed the songs -some very well known by Elvis fans- like Johhny B. Goode and Memphis, Tennessee... He also sang many other hits and for a while he invited some girls from the audience to the stage for dancing. He finished his show and did not appear for an encore. So, another legendary singer (last year Jerry Lee Lewis) was in Istanbul.
